Insurance Disputes

I represent “insureds” in cases against their own insurance companies. Over the years my clients have included the owners of businesses, restaurants and tavern owners, farmers, homeowners and other individuals who have suffered significant property damage from fires, storms, water damage or other “covered losses”.

My clients retain me to represent their interests when they find themselves in a battle with their own insurance company to recover the full and fair value of their property losses. These are often described as “bad faith” insurance cases and – under some circumstances – these cases can result in an award of punitive damages and attorney fees when it is established that the insurance company’s denial of your claim was without merit.
